The Charlotte area’s new professional soccer club and team, Stumptown Athletic, will debut this fall – and we’re looking for energetic, highly organized candidates to join our event team.
Stumptown Athletic is part of the new National Independent Soccer Association, a new association that’s kicking off this fall with 10 teams across the U.S. It’s based in Matthews and focuses on youth player development and community investment. That means we want to be a big part of our local community – and that’s where our event staff comes in.
What we need:
Energetic and highly organized candidates with excellent interpersonal skills. Our event staff will work under the Stumptown Athletic operations manager, serving as a liaison between our new team and the community.
Event staff members will represent Stumptown Athletic at community events and soccer matches, which includes setting up and taking down event booths, answering any questions from the public, collecting contact information, handling merchandise, and collecting payments, among other duties.
Moreover, event staff members need to constantly be on their feet and attend to the many needs of event-goers, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels. Events will generally be on weekends and evenings.
